Political hip-hop artist Immortal Technique spoke with Russia Today about notions of democracy, death squads, colonization and elections. Speaking of all that, Grandgood posted about bankers ripping off the public. Immortal Technique spotted at 2DBz, which has been on its conscious grind of late. For real, if I hear about Drake again, I mean really. Immortal Technique is what hip hop is meant to be. He doesn’t ride on colonized people to prove is machismo, he takes it right to the powers that be. I mean it’s easy to shoot people that look like you and brag about V.I.P., this cat talks about gentrification and…well I’ll let you listen to him yourself, after all comments are monitored by B.B. arent they…LOL.
Be4 I forget, Immortal’s “Poverty of Philosophy”, the title sort of an homage to Marx’s classical polemic, says it all.
